It’s the Easter and Anzac Day long weekend which means 5 days off work for most of us. Enjoy every minute of it with family and friends, ride safe and to the speed limit this long weekend. For a bit of fun, there are always plenty of organised group rides going on over the Easter period with various clubs and organisations so check out your local clubs and join in on the action. If you are in Sydney this Good Friday 22nd get yourself to the Bankstown Custom Motorcycle Show and come and say hello to the guys at Super Streetbike Magazine and grab a few freebies – hope to see you there!
From all of us at Super Streetbike Magazine have a safe and enjoyable Easter.
The current issue of Super Streetbike Magazine won’t leave you feeling blue, in fact it will make you green with envy when you see some of the bikes that grace the pages. There’s a carbon fibre custom CBR1000RR, a hand painted Ducati Monster “unleashed”, a big bang Yamaha R1 and loads, loads more. The Adventures of Lukey Luke, Tex and Bundy Tails, What’s Hot, plenty of great reading all packed into this issue. Finally, we take an in-depth look at the Honda CBR1000RR this issue in Bike-A-Pedia – check it out!
There are a number of shows, events and rides throughout the year in Australia that are of interest to motorcycle fans, in particular those who love sportsbikes but it is not always easy to find out about these events in your local area. So, if you know of an event that may be of interest to readers of Super Streetbike Magazine and sportsbike enthusiasts in general then let us know and we will pass the information on either through this website, our Facebook page or the magazine and of course where possible Super Streetbike Magazine may participate in that event too.
Coming up on March 19th and 20th is the Bendigo Motorcycle Expo, Victoria which will showcase major manufacturers and retail exhibitors along with loads of entertainment, ”Shown & Shine”, a Swap Meet and performances by show pleaser and Super Streetbike mate Lukey Luke!
Following the Bendigo Expo on March 27th in NSW is the MA (Riders Division) Moto-Rodeo for Flood Relief, the Rodeo at Eastern Creek Raceway and will consist of Motorcycle Gymkhana events, games and precision riding displays, you can either participate or be a spectator. In April there is also the Bankstown Custom Motorcycle Show on April 22nd at Bankstown Paceway. The show has a wide display of customs from Harleys to Sportsbikes and has stunt shows, side car demo’s, live bands, trade stalls and so much more. Super Streetbike Magazine will have a stand there so come and say hello to the guys and check out some of the bikes on display.
If you have any information on any other events in your local area let us know by sending an email to stuart@suprstreetbike.com.au
We are currently working on updating the Super Streetbike Magazine website so we can provide you with a fun, funky and informative website containing all the latest news, information and images to do with sportsbikes from Australia and around the world – just like the magazine!

The Australian launch of Super Streetbike Magazine coincided perfectly with the Australian Moto GP at Phillip Island. The Super Streetbike crew had an absolute ball at the GP, and it was great to see some fine quality machines out and about.
